Sustainability report n°3

The third edition of the Sustainability Report of the Natural History Museum of Valparaíso reflects the institution’s ongoing commitment to climate action and the promotion of environmental awareness, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Chile’s State Green Management Program (PMG). Under the editorial concept “Museum + Science,” the museum implemented initiatives that integrate sustainability, education, and scientific outreach. Highlights include the 9th School Innovation, Science and Technology Contest, and the 5th Scientific Book Fair. These efforts reaffirm the museum’s role as an active agent in building collaborative alliances and fostering community participation, with a focus on sustainable development from a territorial and inclusive perspective.
